Grown in a natural balance of golden sunshine and gentle sea breeze, the coconuts are nurtured to perfection. From the thicker, more succulent meat, the natives of the islands have been extracting the richest, purest extra virgin coconut oil for centuries, which they use as a base for traditional medicines and health supplements as well as beauty aids. While there are many methods of extracting oil from coconuts, there is really only one accepted way of extracting virgin coconut oil from fresh coconuts: The COLD PROCESS. We at Touch of Grace are recognized through our use of this traditional centrifuge method that does not involve chemical additives of heat or any refining processes such as bleaching or deodorizing. To do so would degrade the product. It is our process of choice that puts the "extra virgin" into our coconut oil, guaranteeing only the highest quality. The principle may be strictly traditional but the production process is just as strictly up-to-date modern. Both GMP (good manufacturing practice) and HACCP (hazard analysis on critical control point) certified, stringent quality control measures are integrated into every stage of production.
